Ingredients: (3-4 people)
800 gr. cauliflower
200 gr. potatoes
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
Coarse salt, to taste
Nutmeg and black pepper, to taste
Preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them in small cubes. Wash them well and place on a large pan with boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes and add the cauliflower, washed and cut in small pieces. Season with salt and cook for another 25 minutes.
2. Drain and reduce to a mash, with the help of a fork. Season with the olive oil, add the garlic and chopped thyme, pepper, nutmeg and salt, if needed.
3. Sprinkle with a little olive oil and serve hot, as a side to meat or fish dishes.
